When you register a domain name with GetYourChurchDomain, you have full management rights to its DNS settings.

The DNS settings work in conjunction with your Web hosting service. When you use the ForMinistry WebBuilder toolkit, your Web site is dynamically generated by ForMinistry Web servers and the steps below are applicable. If your Web site hosting is provided by a different company, please view instructions for custom DNS settings.

DNS Settings for a ForMinistry-powered Web site:

1. Click on the Login button on the GetYourChurchDomain.com home page and login using your account information.
   
   
   
2. Click on the "domain names" > "my domains" in the left navigation menu.
   
   
3. Click on the domain name that you wish to configure, listed on the MY DOMAINS screen.
   
   
   
4. The first section titled "DNS Server" shows your DNS settings. It should look like this:
   
   
   If your screen looks different, please click on the CHANGE SERVICE button and select the radio button to use Our DNS Servers, like this:
   
   
   
   And click on the SAVE CHANGES button.
   
   
   
5. The second section titled "DNS Settings" shows your host settings if you're using "Our DNS Servers" above, in conjunction with a ForMinistry-powered website. It should look like this:
   
   
   
   
   If your host settings are different, click on the CONFIGURE button below it to change the settings as follows:
   
   
   
   
   
6. Now that you have the DNS Servers and its host settings properly set, please go to your ForMinistry-powered Web site to confirm its settings. Follow the steps at www.ForMinistry.com/help/integrate.dsp to get your domain name added to your Web Site.
   
   
7. Your domain name should work with your ForMinistry-powered Web site. Please allow 24-48 hours for DNS propagation.
