Updating Whois Information

Update your domain name's Contact/Whois Information to maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date information. According to ICANN rules, the provision of false Whois (contact) information can be grounds for cancellation of your domain name registration.

  1. Click on the Login button on the GetYourChurchDomain.com home page and login using your account information.

  2. Click on the "domain names" > "my domains" in the left navigation menu.

  3. Click on the domain name that you wish to update contact info, listed on the MY DOMAINS screen.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page, so you will see the Utilities section as pictured.

  5. Click on the "Contact/WhoIs Information" link.

  6. Review and update any contact information accordingly. (To update your Billing Contact, please follow instructions for account setup).

  7. Click on the SAVE CHANGES button at bottom to finish.

NOTE: Your domain name's contact information will be publically accessible, and may be used occasionally by others for unsolicited advertisement. To protect your privacy, we suggest that you purchase an additional ID Protect service.

NOTE:

According to ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) requirements, information about who is responsible for domain names is made publicly available to allow rapid resolution of technical problems and to permit enforcement of consumer protection, trademark, and other laws. The registrar (GetYourChurchDomain) will make this information available to the public on a "Whois" site.

Since your domain name's contact information will be publically accessible, and may be used occasionally by others for unsolicited advertisement. To protect your privacy, we suggest that you purchase an additional ID Protect service.

TIP: Use the Auto Settings for Registrar-Lock and Auto-Renew to prevent cybersquatters from "stealing" your domain name!
