Auto Settings for your domain name

When you register a domain name with GetYourChurchDomain, you have two automatic settings: one for a registrar lock, one for auto-renew.

The registrar lock setting will prevent your domain name from being unintentionally transferred to a different registrar. The recommended setting is to set this option to ON, so you can retain management rights to your domain name with GetYourChurchDomain.

The auto-renew setting will insure that your domain name doesn't expire by accident or oversight. The recommended setting is to set this option to ON, so a cybersquatter does not "steal" your domain name.

To check or change your Auto Settings for your domain name:
  1. Click on the Login button on the GetYourChurchDomain.com home page and login using your account information.

  2. Click on the "domain names" > "my domains" in the left navigation menu.

  3. Click on the domain name that you wish to configure, listed on the MY DOMAINS screen.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page, so you will see the Utilities section as pictured.

  5. Click on the "Set Auto-Renew/ Registrar-Lock Options for Domain Names and Services" link.

  6. Click on the checkboxes to toggle the options. (checked means option turned ON)

  7. Click on the SAVE CHANGES button at bottom to finish.
