If your domain name status says "Expired", it means your domain name registration period has expired and run out. Our system automatically sends out email renewal notices 45, 30 and 15 days prior to the expiration date. All communication is sent to the email address in your account, and includes instructions on how to renew your domain. If the automatic renewal option is turned off, we will not renew your domain name. If your credit card information is not current, we will be unable to renew the domain until the information has been updated.
When a domain name is expired, GYCD (through Enom) may provide a 29-day grace period to renew the domain after expiration. However, this is no guarantee, so the best solution is always to renew before your expiration date. If your domain is in this grace period, you can renew your domain name by going to the "expired name" tab on your domain name page. This tab features all expired names with a link to renew these names right away.
If you miss the grace period, GYCD (through Enom) can redirect your domain name to a landing page (or no page at all) with advertisements and other links not associated with your website. If you need to renew your domain name between the end of the renewal grace period and the drop date (which could be up to 12 months after domain expiration), it will cost approximately $160 to $200 to renew the domain name. Please contact us via email at support@getyourchurchdomain.com for information to renew in this manner.
